Compared drugs
Augmentin 1 g (amoxicillin and enzyme inhibitor)
Detralex (diosmin, combinations)
Betaloc (metoprolol)
Tritace (ramipril)
Anopyrin (acetylsalicylic acid)
Nitresan (nitrendipine)

Drug Interaction
Betaloc & Tritace
The risk or severity of adverse effects can be increased when Ramipril is combined with Metoprolol.

Betaloc & Anopyrin
Acetylsalicylic acid may decrease the antihypertensive activities of Metoprolol.

Betaloc & Nitresan
The risk or severity of adverse effects can be increased when Nitrendipine is combined with Metoprolol.

Betaloc & Apo-tamis
Metoprolol may increase the orthostatic hypotensive activities of Tamsulosin.

Tritace & Anopyrin
Acetylsalicylic acid may decrease the antihypertensive activities of Ramipril.

Tritace & Nitresan
Ramipril may increase the hypotensive activities of Nitrendipine.

Tritace & Apo-tamis
The risk or severity of adverse effects can be increased when Tamsulosin is combined with Ramipril.

Nitresan & Apo-tamis
Tamsulosin may increase the hypotensive activities of Nitrendipine.

Food interactions and other recommendations

Augmentin 1 g: Take without regard to meals.
Betaloc: Avoid alcohol. Avoid natural licorice. Take with food.
Tritace: Alcohol may increase the vasodilatory effects of ramipril. Herbs that may attenuate the antihypertensive effect of ramipril include: bayberry, blue cohash, cayenne, ephedra, ginger, ginseng (American), kola and licorice. High salt intake may attenuate the antihypertensive effect of ramipril. Ramipril decreases the excretion of potassium. Salt substitutes containing potassium increase the risk of hyperkalemia. Take without regard to meals.
Anopyrin: Avoid alcohol, alcohol appears to cause a 50 to 100% increases in ASA serum levels. Take with a full glass of water. Take with food to reduce gastric irritation.
Apo-tamis: Take 30 minutes after a meal (always after the same meal). Taking the drug with food minimizes plasma levels variations.
